Microsoft Surface book 95F-00001 Review

For a few years,Microsoft, has been saying that the future of PC’s are tablets, such as the Surface Pro. Almost as soon as Microsoft released its new Surface Pro 4, then came Microsoft Surface Book. When you look at the 13-inch notebook with its superior design, its long battery life and it’s one of a kind performance that you will find in a handful of laptops put together, like the MacBook Pro. But unlike the Mac Pro, you can remove the keyboard and use it as a tablet. The 1.6-pound tablet has an integrated notebook grade Intel core Processor. The Surface Book has its own unique style with its funky snake like looking mechanism(Fulcrum) that when folded it’s as flat as it can possibly be.

Being Microsoft’s first tablet, it really raised the bar with The Microsoft Surface Book compared to other notebooks with its best in class battery life, and with its high-speed performance. Its feels heavier than most laptops but like mentioned before it’s not like most. In the Surface Book, you will find two full-sized USB 3.0 ports with a full-sized SDXC card reader. There is also a mini display port. Other features include: unique well-constructed design, great lighting as a tablet, beautiful screen, comfortable keyboard, best in class battery life, and many configurations. What’s really cool about the Surface Book is the way you detach it to convert it to a tablet. You must find the button that is next to the delete button, the laptop will vibrate, a green light will light-up and a window will pop up letting you know it’s ready to detach. The tablet can very easily be attached back on with magnetic spades and can be faced the opposite direction.

You would think that a laptop as amazing as this would not have any disadvantages but there are a few minor ones such as the shortness of battery life when used as a tablet, it’s high price, the fulcrum hinge, feels heavier than most laptops, and the screen wobbles a bit when in laptop mode.

Overall it is highly recommendable, especially to people who value performance, battery life, and are willing to pay a bit of a high price for this device.
