Lenovo Ideapad 320s Review

The IdeaPad 300 series is aimed mainly at buyers that are looking for small, light-weight laptops. The Lenovo Ideapad 320s boots up quickly and runs smoothly, brilliant light weight design. Perfect for everyday use. With decent loudspeakers and Dolby equaliser the sound quality is good perfect which if you love to listen to music from your laptop, this combination really works well.  The keyboard is very ergonomic, with the gaps between each button a good size. Using this keyboard makes writing an enjoyable experience.

The Lenovo Ideapad 320s comes with the integrated HD Graphics 610 graphics card, which does mean that this device is made for simple tasks. The IdeaPad 320s has 4 GB of working memory but with the extra benefit of the SSD the speed of the laptop is perfect for every days tasks. The SSD is 128 Gb, so not huge and some will find it very small. An external hard disk would be a good idea to hold large file and back ups.

IdeaPad 320S is mainly made from plastic but with the display cover being made of aluminium it does look good. The colour is called “Mineral Grey” and has a fine grain look to it, which i do like. There are a few different confiurations that be found for this model with the max spec from Lenovo at Intel Core i7 processor and up to 8 GB DDR4 memory.  A dedicated graphics card powered by the NVIDIA GeForce 920MX. With a  2-cell Lithium-polymer which gives the IdeaPad 320S battery life of up to 7 hours

Only minor issue with it is that the webcam quality is poor, but that isn’t exactly a deal-breaker. With only 2 USB ports you might want a USB hub to use along side it.

Lenovo’s IdeaPad 320S is a good device, which if you go for the high spec version would make it a brilliant machine. but you can find the base model and the overall performance is still there which will deal with most peoples needs. The web camera is poor but this should not a show stopper for this laptop. The dispaly is a very average screen, which some would say has a lowish resolution.
