Asus Zenbook UX330CA-RHM1-CB Review

The Asus Zenbook UX330 is like most Asus which is not very expensive. The skill, aptitude, creativity, performance, battery and battery life expectancy from a laptop like this is good. It is sold a good price, good at handling many tasks and gestures well.  The buttons do not click or rattle and are not stiff. The screen has a great resolution display, it runs well, runs for a long time while being charged.

Benefits

The Zen book UX330 looks like most Zen books with a full metallic case with a simple interior and exterior but it does not feel like most Zenbooks do, which is a plus. The UX330 was built more stronger and is built on a plastic inner chassis with metal sheets (feel stronger and thicker) on the top than most other Zenbooks. One of the great and most noticeable in the Zenbook UX330 is the bezel in the screen. It will not bulge or creating bleeding on the panel. The lines surrounding the UX330 have been slightly altered. They have a more rectangular shape and the edges are straighter. It is also light-weight weighing 2.65lbs. yet another great advantage to this newly advanced Zenbook UX330 is the hits it can take and has a more reliable click and better typing experience.

Disadvantages

One of the downsides of the Zenbook UX330is the color, which is Rose Gold color. The light is great when you use it indoors but would not recommend to use it outdoors; it’s hard to see the screen. The RAM is glued to the motherload and non-upgradeable. When playing a game on the Zenbook UX 330 the CPU slows down. Another disadvantage of the Zenbook UX 330 is the speakers. Because of its positioning if you place the Zenbook on a bed or on a pillow you will notice the sound and volume drop noticeably.

Verdict

Overall the zenbook UX 330 is a little more expensive than the UX 305 but if you are looking for a compact notebook, the Asus Zenbook UX330CA-RHM1-CB is a good pick. It is also very affordable like its competitors such as Lenovo ThinkPad 13, Acer Aspire S13,or the HP Envy 13.

  1. The Zenbook is not suitable for up-to-date 3D games due to only two physical cores and, above all, the weak processor graphics. It low TDP of 15 watts makes it suitable for especially compact and slim ultrabooks, convertibles or laptops like the review sample.
