Processor: Intel Core i5

Memory: 8 GB of RAM

Storage: 1 TB SATA

Screen: 15.6 Inches

OS: Windows 10

As we mentioned above the Asus VivoBook X556UQ-DB51-CA doesn’t lack for performance while still being reasonable on the wallet. By not going with the big and flashy Intel Core i7 processor and instead settling for the Intel Core i5 this laptop model still has above average performance but with the lower cost of the i5 is able to keep the price well below the $1000 mark and keep it within reach of those who have a budget they have to work with. The Intel Core i5 combined with 8 GB of memory produces great performance that should please all but the heaviest demanding users.

One of the first limitations plenty of laptop owners run into on older devices is lack of storage space but this VivoBook has you well covered in this regard as well. The large 1 TB SATA drive gives you more then enough room for all your critical files and you will probably find yourself with a huge amount of extra storage space left over.

Both bluetooth and WI-FI will be found on this device along with a memory card reader giving you plenty of options on how you transfer data from external devices.

One area that the Asus VivoBook X556UQ-DB51-CA doesn’t quite keep up with the competition is mobility and this is mainly due to the bulkier size of the device. With a total weight of 5.1 pounds it isn’t as bad as some but easily falls in the lower half in this category.

One of the main reasons for the bulkier size is the fact that Asus has left the optical drive intact instead of removing like many of its competitors. For some this is a great benefit but for those who would prefer an extra slim and light model over having the ability to use outdated technology this is a minor drawback.

The Asus VivoBook X556UQ-DB51-CA does a nice job of covering all the bases quite well with only some minor downsides that most consumers are going to easily be able to look past, Because of this we expect this VivoBook to be very popular over the coming months.
