Processor: Intel Core i5-6198DU

Memory: 8 GB of RAM

Storage: 1 TB SATA

Screen: 15.6 Inch Non-Touchscreen

OS: Windows 10

The Asus VivoBook Max X541UA-BH51-CB is a mid-range laptop that tries to offer a bit of everything without the ridiculous price tag we see on some models and for starters it strikes a nice balance of providing good performance without going over the top and driving the price out of reach of the average consumer. It does this by going with the Intel i5 option for a processor which is a step below the workhorse i7 but still performs very well at a lower cost and when you mix this with 8 GB of memory you end up with a really well performing laptop model.

The 15.6 inch display makes it an average sized laptop with a good bit of viewing area without getting to big and bulky which is great for those consumers who are on the go and need to take their device with them. The total weight of the device comes in at an even 2 KG and is 2.79 cm thick. This model can’t compete with some of the smaller and more mobile devices but for a full sized laptop is very convenient to carry for extended periods of time.

While the display on the Asus VivoBook Max X541UA-BH51-CB is adequate the lack of a decent graphics card may make it less then ideal if playing games at the best quality possible is one of your must’s for a new laptop. Asus has included the very basic graphics option that has no dedicated memory.

This model covers the basics quite well but lacks any significant features that would really wow a potential consumer. Some nice to have features that you won’t find here include a back lit keyboard and touchscreen technology.

The Asus VivoBook Max X541UA-BH51-CB is a basic mid-range option that has a bit of everything to satisfy the average day to day user, As mentioned above it won’t wow anybody but is a very solid option if basic with decent performance are the main qualities your looking for in a new laptop.
