For those looking for just a little bit more in the performance department then you find in your typical mid-range laptop you might just be impressed with what the Acer Aspire R5-571T-5773 has to offer. The Intel Core I5 processor is more then capable of handling just about anybodies workload and instead of sticking with what seems to be the standard 8 GB of memory Acer has upped it to 12 GB to make sure the performance doesn’t lag when running those demanding applications or doing heavy multi-tasking.
You can’t forget about storage needs when sizing up your potential new laptop and again this is an area that Acer has you covered well. With a large 1 TB drive you will find more then enough room to store all your critical files and for many probably not even make a dent in what it can handle.
As we mentioned above touchscreen is a great new technology that completely changes how you interact with your laptop and with just about everybody familiar with how this technology works due to Smartphones and tablets it seems like a natural progression to introduce this to the laptop design.
With up to 9 hours of battery life those who are on the go often are going to find it great for how long you can work between charges.
It is not common that we get stuck for items that we can list in the downsides section but the Acer Aspire R5-571T-5773 does a good job of making this difficult. While we don’t see any major drawbacks we do have one area we think could have been improved. The addition of an SSD over the older and slower technology of SATA for the harddrive would have gave this laptop some great performance on top of what it already has.
The Acer Aspire R5-571T-5773 seems to be one of the better new laptops we have reviewed recently has it has loads of power but also some other great features such as touch screen and of course a long lasting battery which is a must for anybody who is on the go.
