Looking to enjoy one of the biggest new technologies to hit the laptop market in recent years? If your not sure what we are talking about it is touch screen which has changed the way we work with our laptops and the all new Acer Aspire F5-573T-56UC which we are reviewing today includes just this technology along with the latest and greatest operating system from Microsoft which is Windows 10. Below we are going to investigate this model a little bit more and see what some of the biggest benefits and downsides are to see just how well it stacks up.
Processor: Intel Core i5-6200U
Memory: 12 GB of Ram
Storage: 1 TB SATA
Screen: 15.6 Inch Touchscreen
OS: Windows 10
One way that the Acer Aspire F5-573T-56UC helps separate itself from the competition in this same price range is by giving the internal memory a bit of a boost from the typical 8 GB to 12 GB. That may not seem like a big difference but that is a 50% increase and can make a big impact when you are running demanding applications or multi-tasking between multiple things and can be the difference between a laptop that bogs down to one that speeds along with no noticeable impact.
Not all mid-range laptop models are choosing to include touchscreen technology and that may be because not all consumers have fully embraced it as an added advantage. But for those who have by Acer including it on a laptop that is both well priced for what you get and packed with some great hardware it makes for almost a must have for some.
Two USB 3.0 ports instead of the standard one that many mid-range models have is a great benefit to those who need to hook up multiple external devices and needs to have each of them running at the fastest speeds possible which only USB 3.0 can provide.
The Acer Aspire F5-573T-56UC isn’t going to wow anybody when it comes to an extremely light weight design. While the battery life is more then impressive with 7 full hours the total weight of 2.3 Kg is just average at best.
Other then the mention above there is very little that Acer has left out of this Aspire model, You could make the argument that a faster SSD drive would be a great addition but you need to keep in mind that it is not going to have near the storage capacity that is provided by the 1 TB SATA that is currently included.
The Acer Aspire F5-573T-56UC seems to be a perfect fit in this price range and it provides just about everything a potential buyer could want including all the latest technologies and great performance. About the only reason we can see you wanting to avoid this laptop is if touchscreen is something you really don’t want included but otherwise looks like a great overall buy.
