Specs

Processor: Intel PQC N4200

Memory: 8 GB of RAM

Storage: 1 TB SATA

Display: 17.3 Inch Non-Touchscreen

OS: Windows 10

Benefits

Obviously for many especially those who like to watch media on a regular basis from there laptop the large 17.3 inch screen is going to be its biggest draw, There is no doubt that the advantages of having a screen this size are great.

You will find plenty of options when it comes time to start plugging in your external devices as there are 3 USB ports available on this model. Not only do you have the ability to plug plenty of devices in but one of these ports also runs on USB 3.0 which has transfer speeds that far exceed the older 2.0 technology. Along with USB you will find HDMI and Bluetooth available.

Nothing is worse then buying a new laptop and finding out you can fit all your critical files on it due to limited hard drive space, That shouldn’t be an issue on this Aspire. The large 1 TB drive gives you 1000 GB of storage meaning you will hard pressed to find enough important data to fill up its full capacity.

Downsides

The large 17.3 inch display on the Acer Aspire ES1-732-P0TW sounds great and does give you plenty of screen real estate but unlike many of the more slightly pricier options that also have this screen size this display is not Full HD meaning the video quality may not be what you expect.

Of course to provide a large model such as this at a budget friendly price some corners needed to be cut and the lack of HD isn’t the only one, The processor choice here leaves plenty to be desired as they have went with the very basic Intel PQC N4200. Even with a decent amount of memory this laptop model is not built for high end performance.

Verdict

While the Acer Aspire ES1-732-P0TW does do a great job of providing a large display for a low cost make sure you are aware of some of its limitations such as lack of HD display and lower end processor. If these are not big concerns for you then this laptop looks like a great option.

  1. A very good review report, however some of the spelling and grammar usage needs to be spruced up. e.g. there instead of their, expressions such as ‘they have went’ instead of ‘they have gone’.
