For any laptop in this price range you can’t really expect the best of anything but the Acer Aspire ES1-531-C4SA does do a very good job of providing a model that is highly mobile even if it is a full sized laptop. The battery will give you a full 6 hours between charges which is enough for most people and with a total weight of just 2.29 Kg it isn’t an overly bulky laptop making it decent for travel or just working on the go.

All the important must have connections are available on this Aspire model including 3 USB ports with one of them even running on the newer and much faster 3.0 technology. HDMI is here as well for connecting to an external monitor or TV and if you have Bluetooth devices no worries, these will work with this laptop as well.

Probably not surprisingly to anybody who has browsed new laptops recently but the Acer Aspire ES1-531-C4SA isn’t going to wow anybody with its high end performance due to it getting the short end of the stick when it comes to hardware. The Intel Celeron processor is affordable for sure but lacks the power of the other slightly more expensive options Intel has to offer. When you combine a low end processor with just 4 GB of memory you end up with a laptop that isn’t suited for high end tasks.

Many people are enjoying touch screen technology on their laptop devices but unfortunately this has been skipped over on this model to help reduce the cost.

Consumers in the market for something decently portable but still having a full sized screen and do not need top end performance will find the Acer Aspire ES1-531-C4SA well suited for them for the amount it costs. Don’t expect a top of the line laptop for this price but as far as budget models go it is a very good entry by Acer.
