Nobody likes to just open the box of an all new laptop purchase, power up the device and quickly find out it lacks the power to run anything beyond basic tasks, Unfortunately that tends to be the case with many new budget models but unlike these the Acer Aspire E5-575T-58WH impresses especially for a laptop that is still not budget breaking. The Intel Core i5 processor along with 8 GB of memory gives this model easily enough power to handle basic tasks and then some and handle multi-tasking without grinding to a halt due to performance limitations.

As we mentioned above this laptop model also comes with touchscreen technology, This new tech has been out for some time and can be found on many new models and offers users a great new way to interact with there laptop which is already familiar for anybody who already has a smartphone or tablet device. Windows is ready to take full advantage of this new feature right out of the box with no additional setup required.

If you are one of those users who needs to save everything, no matter if it is music, photos, videos or just the latest office document you will have no trouble finding the storage space with the Aspire’s large 1 TB drive.

The Acer Aspire E5-575T-58WH makes it difficult to write much of a downsides section as it is well balanced overall without having any shocking downsides but as always we can still find a couple of things that could have made this model even better starting with mobility. This model is far from being disappointing but at 2.4 Kg and 7 hours of battery life it is just middle of the road when it comes to its portability.

One major improvement would have been the addition of an SSD over SATA drive which would have made an already well powered laptop model even better.

Very well rounded with all of the latest must haves is a great way to sum up the all new Acer Aspire E5-575T-58WH making it a great option for all types of users and with a price tag that isn’t too extreme it will most likely be a top selling model for the months ahead.

  1. Needs a DVD drive … and it wasn’t opening things as soon as I got it, had to update it twice since yesterday so now seems to be running smoother… I didn’t buy it, I would have checked for the DVD drive, too much money to pay for a computer without one, I’m returning it.

  2. No DVD drive? Download the drives from the manufacturers web site direct to laptop or find a PC with both and copy the DVD to a USB stick.

If you MUST have a DVD, an external USB connection is available cheaply.
